Custom Work Polo Shirts: the Smart End of the Workwear Range

Not every crew works in a twill shirt. Drivers, service technicians, warehouse office staff and customer-facing teams often sit in the gap between a T-shirt and a uniform shirt — and the garment that fills it is the polo. Construction

Polo platforms run in piqué knit in TC and CVC blends — polyester-rich for colour fastness and wash life, cotton-rich where the buyer's market expects the softer hand. Collars and cuffs are knitted to hold shape through industrial washing; side vents and a two- or three-button placket are standard. Branding

Polos are embroidery garments: a stitched chest logo is effectively the product. Collar, cuff and colour discipline

A polo lives at the collar: knitted collars and cuffs are specified to recover after washing rather than relax into a wave — the visible difference between a staff uniform and a giveaway shirt at month six. Colour discipline follows the program rule: polos are dyed/knitted to the same standard as the woven garments they are issued with, checked as a set at sampling. Where the polo is the public face of the company (drivers, field service, retail-adjacent staff), we recommend the embroidery be approved on the actual piqué, not on a flat artwork print — texture changes how a mark reads, and the 7-day sample exists precisely for that judgement.
